Extended Abstract 1.Introduction Psychological well-being is an important structure that at a low level leads to depression and social isolation and causes a lack of satisfaction and self-confidence and feelings and leads to a decrease in mental and physical health (3). One of the important psychological characteristics is the feeling of well-being or satisfaction. People with high well-being experience mostly positive emotions and have a positive evaluation of the events and happenings around them, while people with low psychological well-being evaluate their life events and situations unfavorably and experience more negative emotions such as anxiety, depression and anger. (6). In addition, people who experience high levels of well-being are, on average, more trustworthy and more cooperative with others (7). On the other hand, mental health, is a way of adapting to the world, people who are effective, happy and satisfied and maintain a state of mood, alertness, socially sensitive behavior and a happy disposition. Mental health is the full capacity to live in a way that enables us to understand our natural capacities and, instead of separating us from the other human beings who make up the world, creates a kind of unity between the individual and others (11). Today, various variables have been mentioned in order to manage mental health and psychological well-being. One of the important variables in this regard is emotional exhaustion. Emotional burnout occurs when a personchr(chr('39')39chr('39'))s emotional desires are greater than what individuals can handle during interpersonal interactions (12). This issue has led to the present study to investigate the role of emotional burnout on psychological well-being and mental health. Therefore, the main question of the present study is what effect does emotional exhaustion have on psychological well-being and mental health? 2.Methods The method of the present research is a survey and applied that was done in the field. The statistical population of the present study included the official employees of Sepah Bank (1472 people). 306 people were identified as the research sample by stratified random sampling according to the Cochran sample size formula. Finally, after distributing and collecting research questionnaires, 282 questionnaires were analyzed. The instruments of the present study included three questionnaires of 28 general mental health questions (4 components of physical symptoms, anxiety and insomnia, social dysfunction and depression), 18-item questionnaire of Reef psychological well-being (1989) (6 components of self-acceptance, environmental mastery, relationship Positive with others, having a purpose in life, personal growth and independence) and the 29-item questionnaire of emotional burnout Montazeri (2016) (5 components: lack of interest in the workplace, loss of emotional strength, indifference to clients, metamorphosis and lack of activity Individual) was. Finally, descriptive statistics (frequency and percentage) and structural equation method using SPSS and PLS software were used to analyze the data. 3.Result The results showed that emotional burnout has a significant effect on mental health and emotional empowerment (Table 1). On the other hand, the results showed that the variables of burnout, well-being and mental health have a good fit (criteria higher than 0.7). Selected indicators were used to evaluate the fit of the research model. Finally, considering that the desired value of GOF index is higher than 0.36, it can be said that the value of this index is in a favorable position in the variables of mental health and psychological empowerment. According to the results of the model fit index, it was found that the research model has a good fit in all indicators (Table 3). 4.Discussion The present study found that emotional burnout reduces the levels of mental health and psychological well-being. Depression, feelings of helplessness, feelings of inefficiency at work, and the like are all examples of burnout. Negative attitudes toward self, job, organization, and life in general indicate attitudinal burnout. Most sufferers report feelings of low self-esteem. Another consequence of burnout is reduced performance in which a person can not use all and most of their physical, mental and physical strength, energy and energy to do things (17). The worn-out person is trying to find new jobs and professions. Other consequences of burnout include increased absenteeism and decreased work efficiency (19). On the other hand, emotional burnout is an important factor in the duties of the academy and employees that has a negative effect on employees and the organization, on the behavior and attitude of individuals and also on their performance and efficiency (20). This has led to a wide range of emotional burnout in some areas, including psychological issues such as mental health and psychological well-being. Other causes of emotional burnout include employeeschr(chr('39')39chr('39')) lack of resources to do their jobs. In other words, when employees believe that the resources available to them are not sufficient for their job demands, they are prone to emotional burnout. Also, the feeling of inability to do a job by the person or achieve the final results contrary to the expected results are other factors influencing the occurrence of emotional burnout. In general, several causes and factors have played a significant role in causing burnout, including workload, role conflict, role ambiguity, lack of social support, interpersonal factors and job expectations (21). In order to observe the ethical points in the truth, the researcher undertook to keep all the information in the questionnaire confidential.
